This week I delved into the world of branded paper to see what the options are, and the costs. After three hours of searching and comparing, here are my top 5 favourite finds.
Branded tissue paper (also known as custom printed) is a simple way to incorporate your logo, add professional wrapping and protect your product at the same time.
As always, there are endless options, many designed to make it harder to compare with competitors, but I picked out a few common specifications and one size to make price comparisons. Here’s my choice of paper for ecommerce packing (remember to look for “food grade” if you’re wrapping food products directly):
- Acid-free (prevents yellowing in older paper stock and avoids interacting with products it’s touching)
- 500x750mm (20×30″)
- 1 colour print
- 500 sheets
- Prices excludes postage and VAT at 20%
- Must be able to upload design on website (rather than email sales)

Don’t forget – to save money on custom printed paper, there are lots of pre-printed papers with nice designs. If you can find a design complementary to your logo, bulk buy the paper and add your logo with a sticker to close the paper.
